On March 26, 2021, a devastating fire struck the facilities of Semilleros Deitana in Totana (Murcia). The flames, which broke out in the middle of the night, destroyed around 10,000 square meters of facilities, putting the future of one of the most important nurseries in the area at risk, along with the jobs of its 50 employees.
In situations like this, time is not just money: it is the company’s very survival. Stopping would have meant losing entire sowing seasons and failing to meet commitments to customers.

The line was similar to the one the client had previously used, allowing operators to continue working without any learning time, so production could resume within just a few days once the area was made accessible again.
Thanks to this rapid intervention, the customer was able to overcome the crisis without significant interruptions. Later, the second-hand line was complemented by a brand-new, latest-generation line, which increased productivity and improved operational efficiency compared to previous standards.
