April 28th is World Day for Safety and Health at Work: an opportunity to reflect on a topic that for us at Atlantic Man. is not just an annual event, but a value deeply rooted in our corporate culture, which places the well-being of our employees at the heart of every activity.
Here's how we ensure the safety of our collaborators, both in our offices and in the production departments at our headquarters.
Training and Awareness
Awareness of risks and the adoption of correct and legally compliant behaviours are key to preventing accidents and injuries. For this reason, we regularly organize training courses on safety procedures to be adopted, actively involving our employees so that they are always informed, aware and prepared.
Procedures and Protocols
In addition to training, we have implemented a system of rigorous procedures and protocols to ensure safety in the workplace, drastically reducing the risk of accidents and injuries. These include:
- Detailed and updated evacuation plans;
- Correct use of equipment, machinery, and PPE;
- Periodic checks to verify the condition of production facilities.
Recognitions and Certifications
After obtaining ISO 14001 certification, which confirms our active commitment to environmental sustainability, we are completing the procedures to implement a quality management system, as required by ISO 9001 certification. Furthermore, we have started the path towards ISO 45001 certification, focused on employee welfare and workplace safety. These recognitions affirm our commitment to being a safe company, respectful of the environment, and attentive to the well-being of our employees.
Code of Ethics
Finally, we are working on drafting an ethical code, which defines the principles and values on which our corporate culture is based. It includes a specific section dedicated to safety at work, reaffirming the company's commitment to ensuring a safe working environment through targeted training activities and investments in cutting-edge technologies.
