High-capacity drum seeding line XXL2400

The high-capacity drum seeding line XXL2400 made by Atlantic Man. allows to sow any type of plastic, polystyrene and thermoformed seedling trays, satisfying high production needs thanks to a seeding capacity that can reach 2400 containers per hour. This modular-designed seeding system has several units and each one of them takes care of a specific processing phase: after being automatically destacked, the empty trays advance widthways inside the line, are filled thanks to peat loading conveyor belt and subjected to the drilling and seeding mechanism. Subsequently, each cell is covered with vermiculite and watered with a system of perforated shower bars with solenoid valve to prevent waste. Once the seeding process is completed, ready trays are automatically stacked and accumulated at the end thanks to a special conveyor belt. The sowing takes place through a sowing drum with brass insert bars equipped with micro-holes through which the seed is suctioned: the advantage of the patented insert bar system is that it is not necessary to replace the entire drum when converting production, but it is enough to replace the already installed brass bars with others with different drilling holes, depending on the size and shape of the seed you want to process, thus saving on the costs of the equipment supplied with the machine. Depending on the production needs, it is also possible to install a loading bay for empty trays at the beginning of the seeding line, an “Advance” module (2+2 or 1+3) for drilling and seeding and to replace the drum for the coverage with peat with a covering dispenser conveyor belt suitable for the sand and vermiculite.
